Its Christmas

Well its Christmas and I hope all my fellow hounds at the Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust and the Retired Greyhound Trust got as good presents as I did.

I got a special meal with it being Christmas, a little kibble, some things called brussel sprouts and a whole ducks neck.

Present wise I got a new leather collar and lead for best days out, some treats and on Boxing day my foster cousin, Tilly the Chocolate Labrador came with her foster parents and brought me a box of treats and a new toy.

We also went for a long walk together with Ethan and Sofia, Caroline & Richard’s nephew and niece.  Once we reached the wild open fields of Lincolnshire, Tilly was let of the lead but Richard always keeps me on the lead as he thinks i’ll catch and eat the rabbits.  I would not eat all of them, it is Christmas 😉

Hope you all have a fun Christmas as I did.

Christmas Eve – a Beach Walk

Today its Christmas Eve, and from the smell of the packages with my name on I think I may have some nice treats coming.

We went out in the car today and visited the seaside.  It was cold and bracing but I had one of my winter coats on so was quite cosy underneath.

It seems we were not the only ones with the idea of a beach walk, as there was lots of dogs around, but I did not spot any hounds.

After the walk which was fun, I was glad to get back home.  Richard lit a nice fire so with my bed close by I enjoyed a quiet snooze before teatime.
