Hello from Ted

Hi everyone.  I am Ted. Its lovely to meet everyone.

Professionally I was called Leighlin Ted, an Irish racer, I started my career at Kilkenny racetrack and my first race was on the 30th March 2016 where I came 4th.  I had my last race back in 27th January 2019. I have run and won marathon, and a sprint, but mainly have run middle distance. My last victory was in Peterborough on the 5th October2018.

Today is a very exciting day as I formally retire and have arrived at Gainsborough Kennels belonging to the Lincolnshire Grey Hound Trust.

I am currently sharing a kennel with a very loud noisy bitch called Brandy and she eats everything, including the wallpaper and my bedding.

Good Bye – Timmy (Balance on Time) 3rd August 2009 – 7th March 2019

Richard and Caroline had never had a dog of their own, never mind the exciting privilege of having a Greyhound.

My role has been to train them up to be good Greyhound parents in the hope that they will adopt many other hounds.

I can safely say that I have trained them well and I can go over the rainbow bridge in the knowledge that they will go on and give their home and hearts to many other Greyhounds.

I will remember them always.
