Weekends usually mean a long walk, but Richard only took be for a short walk this Saturday morning so I knew they had something planned.
After breakfast it was a trip into Lincoln where Caroline dropped me and Richard off at the Race Course Grandstand, from there we had a steady walk along the Canal, lots of new smells and a fun walk before we got into town proper.
We walked over a bridge which was not nice as they had large trucks going over it and I am not keen on traffic. Once over the bridge we popped into one of my favourite shops, Pets at Home, where a very nice lady gave me treats and also cut my nails.
From there we walked towards the cathedral, to get there we had to walk up the steepest hill I have ever seen, and even with my super-fit greyhound stamina, I was still out of breath by the time I reached the top.
Once at the top we met up with Caroline again, while I had been getting my nails done she had been getting her hair done. I do like my staff to be smartly attired.
From there we walked back to the car home for a nice long rest.
But that was not the end of the days adventures, when it got close to teatime we headed back off in the car again to visit Aunty Angela. We had all had a nice tea there and I got to have a nice long sleep. Just to be comfy I did take my own bed, its always nice to sleep in comfort even when you are away from home.
